304-XX-XXXX: All Social Security Numbers begining with 304 have been designated in the State
of Indiana. The first three digits of a Social Security Number are referred to as the "Area Number"
The last Social Security Number to be assigned for numbers starting with 304-XX-XXXX was or will be 304-99-9999 at which point a new Area Number will be created in Indiana
The second group of digits in a Social Security Number is referred to as the "Group Number". This two digit code is assigned in a specific order that makes for easy tracking as follows.
1. ODD Numbers 01-09
2. Even Numbers 10-98
3. Even Numbers 02-08
4. ODD Numbers 11-99
Once all Group Numbers have been assigned within the 304 Area Number, A brand new Area Number will be assinged.
